What will I notice after a session?
What will I notice after a session?
After 10 to 15 minutes
Your body warms up deeply. Many users feel the warmth mainly in the lower back and legs. Your muscles relax and your breathing slows down.
After 20 to 30 minutes
You start to sweat. Your body feels looser and heavier, similar to the feeling after a traditional sauna or a warm spa session.
Afterwards (for up to a few hours)
Many people feel calm and pleasantly drowsy, with warmer muscles, especially in the evening or before bed.
Effects vary from person to person and this is not a medical treatment. Most users enjoy 2 to 4 sessions a week.

Before going on sale, this sauna blanket was tested by independent laboratories. Below you can see which standards were used and the report numbers, so you can check them yourself.
- Electrical safety and electromagnetic fields. Tested to EN 60335-1, EN 60335-2-17 and EN 62233 under the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. Test report ZKT-2505169487S of 22 May 2025, 102 pages.
- Electromagnetic compatibility. Tested to EN IEC 55014-1, EN IEC 55014-2, EN IEC 61000-3-2 and EN 61000-3-3 under the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU. Test report ZKT-2505169488E of 26 May 2025, result: pass.
- Hazardous substances. Tested under the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU as amended by (EU) 2015/863, using test methods from the IEC 62321 series. Test report AiTSZ-250604034R01 of 10 June 2025, result: pass.
- REACH. Screened for 247 substances of very high concern on the candidate list of Regulation (EC) 1907/2006. None of these substances were detected. Test report AiTSZ-250604034R02 of 10 June 2025.
What CE actually means. CE is not a quality mark and not an approval by an authority. It is a declaration made by the manufacturer or importer, backed by test reports and technical documentation. For a sauna blanket no notified body is required. So such a declaration is only worth as much as what lies behind it. That is why we list the report numbers and the standards.
For sauna blankets, EN 60335-2-17 is the applicable standard: the part that covers blankets, pads, clothing and similar flexible heating appliances. In the market you will also see other parts of EN 60335 mentioned, for example part 2-27, which covers appliances that expose the skin to UV or infrared radiation. For a blanket, that is not the right part.
The EU declaration of conformity is available on request from our customer service. Luxyor is a Dutch company with its own warehouse in Gorredijk, the Netherlands, and is itself the responsible economic operator within the EU.
